The Compassionate Friends

The Compassionate Friends is a non-profit organization offering friendship and understanding to bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings. The purposes are to promote healing and to aid parents in the positive resolution of the grief experience upon the death of their child, and to foster the physical and emotional health of bereaved parents and siblings.

The Flint Chapter meets monthly all year long to provide a forum for support in a large group setting. All are welcomed. Additionally we hold special events for fellowship and other purposes. A highlight of our year is the annual Candelight Service, held each December to honor and remember our lost children.

Face-to-Face Meeting Schedule

Monthly Support Group meetings are being held at Hope United Methodist Church located at 4467 Beecher Rd, Flint, MI 48532 from 7-9 PM on the last Tuesday of the month.
